The primary goal is to create awareness among students about seat distribution, popular disciplines, and opportunity concentration before the counselling process.
Key insights from the analysis include:
- Dominance of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), reflecting sustained demand for technology-driven careers
- Continued relevance of core branches such as ECE, EEE, and Mechanical Engineering
- Growing presence of new-age programs like Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
- Uneven seat distribution, with a small number of colleges accounting for a large share of total seats
- By presenting government-published data in an accessible, data-driven format, this project helps students make more informed academic choices while also offering insights into how engineering education in Tamil
